General Rules

1. Punctuality for Daily Assembly:

All students are expected to be punctual for the daily assembly. Attendance at the assembly is mandatory and reflects the discipline and respect expected within the school community.

2. English Medium Policy

All communication within the campus is conducted in English, as the school follows an English medium curriculum.

3. Permission for Joining Associations or Organizations:

Students need permission from the Correspondent or Principal before joining any association or organization.

4. Restrictions on Personal Items:

Students are prohibited from carrying mobile phones, comics, or periodicals. They are only allowed to use and bring books from the school library.

5. Respect for Teachers:

Showing genuine respect and love towards teachers is emphasized as an important value, reflecting Indian tradition and institutional ethos.

6. Campus Cleanliness:

It’s mandatory to maintain cleanliness in classrooms and throughout the campus. Any acts of defacement, littering, or deliberate damage to school property will be dealt with seriously.

7. Maintenance of School Property:

Students are responsible for taking care of school property and must not cause any damage. Any damages incurred must be compensated as determined by the management.

8. Restricted Access to Staff Rooms:

Students are not allowed to enter staff rooms at any time.

9. Compulsory Participation in Physical Activities:

Participation in games, sports, and other physical exercises is compulsory, with exemptions granted only on medical grounds.

10. Restriction on Attendance for Communicable Diseases:

Students diagnosed with communicable diseases will not be allowed to attend classes, in order to prevent the spread of illness within the school community.

11. Absence Policy and Re-Admission:

Students who are absent continuously for five days or more without prior permission will have their names removed from the register. Re-admission is possible but requires payment of a readmission fee.

12. Restriction on Entering Other Classrooms:

Students are strictly prohibited from entering other classrooms without explicit permission from the respective teacher. This ensures classroom discipline and minimizes disruptions to ongoing lessons.

13. Cultivation of Silence and Orderliness

The habit of silence should be cultivated, and movement during school hours should be conducted quietly and in an orderly manner.

14. Restriction on Costly Items:

Students are strictly prohibited from wearing or bringing costly items such as gold ornaments to school. The school will not be held responsible for the loss of such articles.

15. Maintaining Discipline:

Strict discipline is to be maintained in the classroom, playground, and corridors. Students should not linger in classrooms or corridors during recess or lunch hours, ensuring smooth transitions and orderliness.

16. Consequences for Misconduct:

Irregular attendance, disobedience, cheating, or serious misbehavior, even outside of school premises, will be viewed seriously and may result in dismissal from the school.

17. Compulsory Attendance on Reopening Days:

Attendance on the reopening days after summer vacation and terminal breaks is compulsory..

18. Detainment and Class Repetition:

Under normal circumstances, if a student is detained, they will be requested to withdraw from the school. Students are not permitted to repeat a class more than once under any circumstances.

19. Absence During Tests/Examinations:

Absence during any test or examination will be considered a serious matter, and re-tests will not be conducted. This emphasizes the importance of regular attendance and punctuality during assessment periods.

20. Two-wheelers:

Students are not permitted to operate motor vehicles, specifically two-wheelers, without a valid driver’s license. The school will not be held liable for any accidents or untoward incidents arising from the unauthorized use of motor vehicles on campus premises or otherwise.

Collaboration with the school

1. Strict Uniform Policy:

Students must adhere strictly to the prescribed uniform. Tight pants and short shirts are not permitted. Boys are prohibited from having fancy haircuts, and girls must not wear flowers or leave their long hair loose while at school. This policy ensures uniformity and neatness among students, promoting a sense of discipline and professionalism within the school environment.

2. Punctuality and Uniforms:

Parents must ensure their children are sent to school on time. Where special classes are conducted, it is expected that students attend them without fail. This reflects the importance of discipline and adherence to school regulations.

3. Drop-off Procedure:

Parents are expected to leave their children at the gate and not accompany them to the classroom. This helps maintain smooth operations and minimizes disruptions during the school day.

4. Lunch Arrangements:

Students are not allowed to go home for lunch. This ensures that the school day remains uninterrupted and that students remain on campus for the duration of the school day.

5. Discouragement of Private Tuition:

Parents should encourage their children to study independently and avoid relying on private tuition. Private tuition is discouraged as it can reduce self-confidence and promote laziness. Active participation and engagement in class are emphasized as superior to private study.

6. Restriction on Classroom Access:

Parents and outsiders are strictly prohibited from entering classrooms during school hours. However, parents are welcome to meet with teachers regarding their child’s progress or behavior immediately after school hours. This ensures a conducive learning environment and maintains the focus on academic activities during school hours.

7. Hand Book

Parents are expected to check their children’s handbook every day without fail.

SCHOOL ATTIRE GUIDELINES

LKG – Grade 5
(MONDAYS, TUESDAYS, THURSDAYS, AND FRIDAYS)

1. Uniform: Girls Dark grey pinafore paired with a white shirt, designed as per the specified pattern. The pinafore must feature the school logo. Boys – Dark grey shorts with a white shirt, designed as per the specified pattern. Shirts must be neatly tucked in at all times and must display the school logo.

2. Hair: Girls – Hair should be styled in two braids secured with black ribbons. Boys – A normal clean-cut hairstyle is required.

3. Footwear: Students should wear black shoes with socks provided by the school.

4. Belt: Both girls and boys are to wear belts with grey and white colors on uniform days.

GRADES 6 – 12
(MONDAYS, TUESDAYS, THURSDAYS, AND FRIDAYS)

1. Uniform: Girls – Dark grey trousers and a white shirt. Tucking in the shirt is optional. The shirt must display the school logo. Boys – Dark grey trousers and a white shirt, neatly tucked in. The shirt must display the school logo.

2. Hair: Girls should style their hair in a single braid, secured with either a black ribbon or a black rubber band. Boys are expected to maintain a normal clean-cut hairstyle.

3. Footwear: Students should wear black shoes with socks provided by the school.

4. Belt: Both girls and boys are to wear belts with grey and white colors on uniform days.

LKG – GRADE 12
(WEDNESDAY AND SATURDAY)

1. Uniform : On Wednesdays and Saturdays, students from LKG to Grade 12 must wear the sports uniform provided by the school. This uniform is mandatory for both girls and boys.

2. Hair : Girls are expected to style their hair in a single braid, secured with a white ribbon or a white rubber band, while boys must maintain a neat and normal clean-cut hairstyle.

3. Footwear : Footwear for these days consists of white shoes paired with white socks.
